BORDERS explores the concept of a post-cultural society and its impact on creatives. In today’s globalized world, it’s easy to assume that borders—and opportunities for creatives—are becoming increasingly blurred, and that all cultures are equal. However, the opportunities available to creatives still heavily depend on their location. There is a wealth of undiscovered work from underrepresented creatives. BORDERS serves as a platform for minorities in our society—not only to share their experiences with inequality but also to tell their stories, explore their identities, and showcase their work. It aims to counteract the imbalance in the creative world, striving for a more inclusive post-cultural society. More than just a magazine, BORDERS is a space for dialogue, an archive, a collective, a workspace, and much more.
